Baldwin finishes strong for 48-35 win

Baldwin held the advantage in the first and fourth quarters Friday night, building a bigger enough lead to defeat visiting Connellsville, 48-35, in Section 2-AAAAAA action.

The Highlanders (2-5, 5-7) outscored Connellsville in the outside quarters, 26-11. The Falcons (2-5, 8-7) had the better of the play in the middle quarters, 24-22.

Josh Maher led the Falcons with eight points.

Nicholas Fiumara led Baldwin with 13 points. Michael Goga added 10.
