Bill’s Bit Service downs AMD Industries, 6-3
Bill’s Bit Service 6, AMD Industries 3 – Bill’s Bit Service scored three runs in the first and third innings en route to a 6-3 victory over AMD Industries on Tuesday in Fayette County Baseball League action at California’s Malden Yards.
Bill’s Bit Service (7-3-1) was the home team on the scoreboard, but the game had to be moved due to preparations being made at Hutchinson Field for the Region 6 Baseball Tournament.
Caleb Dempsey led off the first for Bill’s with a home run, and also added a single. Teammates Nick Groover and Austin Clark each had one double. Groover and Cory Lent each had two hits.
AMD Industries’ Josh Luko and Drake Johnson each had two base hits.
Clark earned the win after yielding two runs (one earned) on eight hits. He had four strikeouts and walked two.
Dillion Shields took the loss. He had five strikeouts and walked seven.
