Mitch’s Bail Bonds outlasts Bill’s Bit Service, 3-2 in 8 innings
Errict Tedrow’s RBI single in the top of the eighth inning lifted Mitch’s Bail Bonds to a 3-2 win over host Bill’s Bit Service in a Fayette County Baseball League extra-inning battle on Thursday.
Jack Orndorff singled to lead off the top of the eighth, advanced on a wild pitch and eventually scored on Tedrow’s clutch two-out hit.
Zach Uhazie allowed just five hits with three walks and 10 strikeouts in tossing a complete game for Mitch’s (6-5-2).
Tyler Frazee took the loss.
Mitch’s scored once in the fourth and once in the sixth to build a 2-0 lead, but Bill’s (8-4-1) tied it with a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Willie Palmer tripled and singled for Mitch’s, Josiah Fisher had two hits and Tyler Chrise also tripled.
Chaz Phillips stroked two hits, including a triple, for Bill’s.

Mill Run 5, Better Edge 2 – Trevor Farrell struck out 13 while throwing a three-hitter to help Mill Run beat host Better Edge, 5-2, in Fayette County Baseball League action on Thursday.
Farrell, who walked three, allowed his only two runs in the bottom of the third after Mill Run had taken a 1-0 lead in the top of the inning.
The Millers (5-5-1) came right back with a pair of runs in the fourth to take the lead for good, and added two more runs in the fifth.
Losing pitcher Bobby Finn walked four and struck out seven in five innings.
All three hits for Better Edge (3-9) went for extra bases as Jacob Wiltrout tripled and Finn and Mike Magiski both doubled.
Tim Hough singled and had three RBIs for Mill Run, which also got two hits apiece from Rich Orndorff and Farrell.

Carmichaels 10, AMD Industries 1 – Chuck Gasti drove in three runs with a pair of doubles as Carmichaels thumped visiting AMD Industries, 10-1, in Fayette County Baseball League action on Thursday.
Nate Torbich allowed one run in six innings with two walks and nine strikeouts to earn the win. Gasti finished up with a scoreless seventh despite walking three as he struck out the side.
Hunter Robinson hit a two-run triple and later scored to spark a five-run second inning that put manager Dickie Krause’s team ahead to stay.
Tyler Reyes homered and had two RBIs for the Copperheads (9-2), who also got doubles from Joby Lapkowicz, Luke Carter, Bo Tutt and John Przbylinski in an 11-hit attack.
AMD Industries (4-10) plated its lone run in the fourth on a long solo home run by Louden Conte to pull within four, but the Copperheads pushed across five more in the bottom of the inning to put the game away.
Josh Luko singled twice for AMD. Losing pitcher Anthony Dellapenna walked three and struck out one before being knocked out of the game with one out in the fourth.
