Lady Spartans top AG, 15-3

Hempfield 15, Albert Gallatin 3 – Kelsey Tobin homered and drove in four runs as Hempfield defeated Albert Gallatin, 15-3 in five innings, in a non-section match-up of softball powers on Friday.

Winning pitcher Maddie Uschock also had four RBIs and Ashley Orischak doubled for the Class 6-A Lady Spartans (14-2).

Annalia Paoli accounted for all the runs for the Class 5-A Lady Colonials (10-3) with a three-run homer and added a single.

Losing pitcher Maddie Flowers was 3 for 3.
