Carmichaels 18, Burgettstown 0, 3 innings – Carmichaels scored 11 runs in the top of the third inning Monday afternoon as the Mikes secured the Section 1-AA title with an 18-0 victory at Burgettstown.

Carmichaels (11-4) closes the section schedule with an 11-3 record. Burgettstown slips to 5-9 in the section and 6-10 overall.

The Mikes scored two runs in the top of the first inning and five more in the second.

Gavin Pratt had a solid game for Carmichaels with a double, single, three runs scored and two RBI. Nate Broadwater had a double and drove in three runs. Steven Spehar doubled and scored two runs. Twos were wild for Dylan Wilson with two runs scored, two singles and two RBI.

Matt Barrish allowed just one hit, a single by Dominic Stage. He struck out two and walked one.
