Rams cruise to 9-2 win at McDowell

Ringgold 9, McDowell 2 – Ringgold scored four goals in both the first and second periods Tuesday night and the visiting Rams cruised to a 9-2 victory in PIHL Division 2 action on the road at McDowell.

Bradley Bujdos scored the first goal and then assisted on goals by Zach Kalinowski and Justin Day. Evan Eberlein’s goal at 14:29 gave the Rams (5-2-0) a 4-1 lead after the first period.

Noah Schroeder, Hunter Suarez, Day and Nathan Todd extended Ringgold’s lead to 8-1 after two periods.

Todd scored Ringgold’s loan goal in the third period.

Evan Cook faced 16 shots, turning aside 14. The Rams peppered McDowell’s Johnathan Nicklas and Collin Bisbee with 54 shots. Nicklas allowed all nine goals.

Both teams went 0-for-3 on the power play.
