Falcons close season with wins over Bulldogs, Cougars and Trojans
Brownsville wrapped up team play in Section 8-AA with victories over Charleroi, California and Beth-Center on Monday at Carmichaels Golf Course.
The Falcons (8-6, 8-6) shot 232 to edge the Cougars, who had 237. The Bulldogs came in at 243 and the Trojans at 270.
Brownsville’s Dalton Mullen fired a two-over par 39 on the front nine to share medalist honors with Beth-Center’s Genin King. Teammates Lindsay Sethman and Caleb Olesko carded 42s and the Falcons E.J. Victor shot 50. Jake Defigio’s 59 wrapped up the scoring for Brownsville.
Charleroi’s Keaton Riley shot a 43, and teammates Frank Gricar and Zach Summers both carded 44s. Sam Leonetti’s 48 and A.J. Fiordidgigli’s 58 closed the scoring for the Cougars (6-8, 8-8).
Beth-Center’s Noah Wyble finished at 43. Teammate Anthony Dellapena had a 49 and the Bulldogs’ Dylan Shashura shot 50. Blake Shashura’s 62 wrapped up the scoring for the Bulldogs (3-11, 3-13).
California (0-14, 0-14) was led by Trucker Roberts’ 46. Teammate Phillip Stewart carded a 47 and Jacob Thomas a 50. The Trojans’ Steve Martin finished at 51 and Jacob Piktel fired a 76.
