Leechburg edges Commodores, 21-14
Frazier scored the first 14 points of the non-conference game at Leechburg, but the Blue Devils scored the final 21 points Friday night to rally for a 21-14 victory.
The Commodores (2-5) quickly grabbed the lead when Kenny Fine returned the opening kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown.
Fine also scored the second touchdown of the first quarter when he grabbed a pass from Julian Muccioli for a 47-yard touchdown.
Muccioli completed 7-of-16 passes for 97 yards with one interception and led the Commodores with 38 yards rushing.
Leechburg (3-4) cut the deficit in half in the third quarter on Dylan Cook’s 8-yard touchdown pass to Bret Kardos.
Jake Blumer’s 15-yard run tied the game in the fourth quarter, and Cook’s 16-yard scoring pass to Devon Stump was the game-winner. Stump completed 10-of-16 passes for 119 yards.
