Lady Warriors sweep Lady Red Raiders, 3-0

Elizabeth Forward earned a sweep in Section 3-AAA girls’ volleyball play on Thursday at Uniontown’s AJ Everhart Memorial Gymnasium.

The Lady Warriors (9-3, 10-3) won by scores of 25-13, 25-4 and 25-9. EF’s Lexa Martell had nine kills and four aces. Teammate Leah Fournier had eight kills. The Lady Warriors’ Sara Beatty had five digs and Kaitlin Fournier had six aces.

Elizabeth Forward hosts Shaler on Monday in a non-section match at 7 p.m. The Lady Warriors will be celebrating Senior Night.
