Lady Gators close with 3-0 win at Avella
Geibel Catholic closed the regular season Thursday night with a 3-0 road victory at Avella in Section 2-A play.
The Lady Gators won by the scores, 25-14, 25-8, 25-17.
Geibel’s Alexa Henckel had a double-double with 16 digs and 12 aces. Shannon Watkins had a solid performance with 30 assists and nine digs. Lauren Tomasko finished with nine digs and eight kills. Paige Bogozi had eight kills.
Avella finishes tied with Jefferson-Morgan in third place behind Carmichaels and Geibel with a section mark of 8-6.
