Lady Leopards score 15 in 4th inning in 24-4 win

Ally Pacak drove in four runs Wednesday afternoon as Belle Vernon won a Section 2-AAAA road game at Carrick, 24-4, in four innings.

The Lady Leopards (3-2, 5-5) led 9-4 after three innings, and then invoked the mercy rule with 15 runs in the top of the fourth inning.

Pacak had a double and single to go with the four RBI. Nyriah Molnar smacked a home run and drove in three runs. Natalie French, Ashley Joll, Sophie Godzak and Jayden Scapellato all drove in two runs.

Vanessa Porter earned the win, allowing two hits with four strikeouts and no walks.

Vicki Biagetti had half of Carrick’s hits with a pair of singles. She also drove in two runs. Haylee Manna took the loss.
