Kostelnik finishes seventh

Cleveland State sophomore Lexie Kostelnik earned all-conference honors after placing in the top eight in the 500 freestyle.

The Laurel Highlands graduate finished seventh in the finals with a time of 4:58.81 to earn Horizon League first-team all-conference honors.

Kostelnik was seeded second entering the prelims.

Johnson, Dunaway honored

Two PGA golf professionals with area ties were recently honored by the local PGA Tri-State Section.

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort’s Eric Johnson was honored with the Horton Smith Award. Willowbrook’s Country Club’s Brian Dunaway, a Geibel Catholic graduate, received the Youth Player Development Award.
