Oakwood men hold on to win USCAA title

The Oakwood men held a four-point halftime lead Saturday night and managed to hold the advantage over the final 20 minutes for a 61-57 victory over Bluefield State in the Division I final of the USCAA National Championships held at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus.

Oakwood finishes the season with a 14-11 mark. Bluefield State closes with a 12-15 record.

The Ambassadors led 26-22 at halftime.

Edmen Stewart led the way for Oakwood with 20 points. He also pulled down nine rebounds. Mike Middleton added 11.

Korey Williams scored a game-high 21 points for Bluefield State.

Teyon Henry finished with 10.
