Connellsville selects Burd, Warrick as Spring Scholar-Athletes
Mia Burd and Cade Warrick not only have an impressive skill set on on the diamond, but the Connellsville seniors but are equally as strong in the classroom. Both say their fathers have been the greatest influence on their athletic careers, with Burd’s dad John the coach of the Lady Falcon softball team and Warrick’s father, and family, part of the long-standing Mill Run baseball tradition. The aforementioned attributes are among those leading to the selection of Burd and Warrick as their school’s spring representatives for the Herald-Standard Scholar-Athlete program.
