Lady Trojans split Section 3-AA triangular

The California girls cross country team split its final Section 3-AA meet Tuesday afternoon, losing to host Avella and defeating Washington.

The Lady Trojans defeated Washington, 15-50, but lost to Avella, 25-35.

California’s Makayla Boda won by nearly three minutes after she crossed the finish line in 22:55. Teammate Anastasia Georgagis was second in 25:32. Raquel Rhoads (10, 36:30), Samantha Smichnick (13, 43:26), and Kara Goddard (14, 44:46) also had scoring runs for the Lady Trojans.
