Lady Warriors overwhelm Belle Vernon, 3-0, in volleyball

Kaitlin Fournier rang up 11 kills and Leah Fournier and Gianna Tour had nine apiece as Elizabeth Forward swept visiting Belle Vernon, 3-0, in a Section 3-AAA volleyball match Thursday night.

The Lady Warriors (7-3, 8-3) won by scores of 25-15, 25-5 and 25-14.

Abby Bickerton added seven kills for EF, which also got 20 assists from Sarah McCall, 13 assists from Grace Smith and seven aces and 10 digs from Mia Vuick.

Allie Brooks had 11 digs for the Lady Leopards (3-7, 4-8).
