Beth-Center won the final set of the non-section volleyball match for a 3-2 victory Monday night against visiting California.

The Lady Bulldogs won the first set, 31-29, but California tied the match in the second, 25-16. Beth-Center took the third set, 25-23, only to have the Lady Trojans tie the match again with a 27-25 win in the fourth set.

Beth-Center secured the victory with a 15-13 win in the fifth set.

Tayla Pascoe paced California with 32 digs and five aces.  Marlee Renner (11 kills), Ca’Mari Walden (9 kills, 2 blocks), Jordyn Cruse (5 aces), and Ashley Gush (4 aces) also had solid nights for the Lady Trojans.

Noelle Hunter had a nice all-around performance for Beth-Center with 21 kills, seven blocks and three aces. Alissa Minerd finished with 25 digs and three aces. Anna Sloan had nine kills and Zoey Sussan finished with 36 assists.
