Jillian Kijowski became the first midfielder in school history to record 100 career points in helping to lead Waynesburg Central over host South Allegheny, 6-0, in a Section 3-AA girls soccer match on Thursday.

Kijowski, a senior who missed her junior year due to injury, had a goal and three assists as the Lady Raiders improved to 6-4 in section play and 9-5 overall.

Kijowski assisted on the match’s first two goals by her junior sister Rhea Kijowski. Jillian Kijowski made it 3-0 when she scored on a penalty kick to give Waynesburg a 3-0 halftime lead.

Ashlyn Basinger put in two second-half goals on assists from Jillian Kijowski and Rhea Kijowski, and Kylie Sinn capped the scoring with an unassisted goal.

McKenzie Booth only had to stop two shots in recording the shutout for the Lady Raiders, who are in third place, one-half game ahead of Mount Pleasant and one game in front of Brownsville. The top four teams make the playoffs.

Hannah Wiecgurski made 25 saves for South Allegheny (0-11, 2-13).
