Wiltrout wins third ACC javelin title
University of North Carolina senior Madison Wiltrout won her third Atlantic Coast Conference javelin title with a season-best throw.
The Connellsville graduate threw 58.51 meters (191-11) to easily win the conference title with the second-place finisher four meters behind.
North Carolina State’s Gionna Quarzo finished second behind teammate Katelyn Tuohy for first-team all-conference honors in the 10,000-meter run.
The Brownsville graduate finished in 33:13.15 with Tuohy crossing the finish line in 32.56.75.
