PSAC honors Georgiana

California (Pa.) sophomore pitcher Sam Georgiana was named the PSAC-West Conference Pitcher of the Week after winning two games and not allowing an earned run.

Georgiana allowed just two unearned runs in 11 innings with one walk and seven strikeouts in wins over Clarion (4-1) and Seton Hill (6-1). The victory against Seton Hill was Georgiana’s first career complete game.

Hartman top pitcher

Seton Hill senior pitcher Logan Hartman was named the PSAC-West Conference Pitcher of the Week after posting a 3-0 record with three complete games.

The Frazier graduate allowed just two earned runs in 18 innings of work with 18 strikeouts. Hartman threw a complete-game shutout in the Vulcans’ 5-0 victory against Gannon where she allowed five hits and struck out a career-high 11 batters.

Hartman allowed one earned run in victories over Pitt-Johnstown (12-4) and Edinboro (17-1).
