Hartman earns PSAC honor

Seton Hill senior Logan Hartman was named the PSAC West Softball Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season.

The Frazier graduate had a 3-0 record with three complete games and two shutouts. Hartman posted a 0.77 ERA after allowing just two earned runs in 18 innings. She had 13 strikeouts.

Hartman has a 19-3 record with a 2.70 ERA.

Baseball

Giraffa top newcomer

Waynesburg freshman infielder Trent Giraffa was named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Baseball Newcomer of the Week for his play last week.

Giraffa extended his on-base streak to 19 games, batting .526 over five games for the Yellow Jackets. He helped Waynesburg clinch its first PAC Tournament berth since 2019 and a 20-win season.
