Garn’s TD catch makes ESPN Top 10 list
Predajna's late TD rallies Vikings in 22-19 win

Jarett Garn’s 56-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter not only rallied Mount Pleasant back into the lead in Friday’s Interstate Conference game at Yough, but also received national recognition on the ESPN Top 10 list.
The Interstate Conference opener had an exciting finish, as well, when Stephen Predajna powered into the end zone from a yard out with 14 seconds left in the game to lift the Vikings to the key road victory. Cole Chatfield hit Van Kopcho for the two-point conversion and the 22-19 win
Garn outleapt three Yough defenders to nab Cole Chatfield’s pass for a 56-yard catch-and-run to give the Vikings the halftime lead and earn the No. 2 spot on the network’s nightly Top 10 list of outstanding plays.
Chatfield completed eight passes for 174 yards.
Brody Hutter spotted the Vikings (1-0, 3-3) the lead in the first quarter on a 20-yard touchdown run.
Yough tied the game in the second quarter on Raidon Kuroda’s 2-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Sarver. Sarver added the point-after.
Kuroda scored on a short run in the third quarter, but the extra-point was missed.
Yough (0-1, 2-4) regained the lead in the fourth quarter when Kuroda completed a 14-yard pass to Jaiden Dixon-Brentze, but the two-pass was incomplete.
