PAC announces all-conference football teams

Washington & Jefferson junior Zach Cernuto was named to Presidents’ Athletic Conference All-Conference first team.

The Southmoreland graduate earned the honors as a tight end/halfback/fullback.

Washington & Jefferson quarterback Jacob Pugh was named the PAC Offensive Player of the Year. Grove City linebacker Ben Bladel was recognized as the Defensive Player of the Year.

Allegheny freshman defensive back David Williams received Newcomer of the Year honors. Grove City’s Andrew DiDonato was the Coach of the Year.

Waynesburg’s Frank Cortazzo (offensive line) received second-team honors.

Geneva senior and Connellsville graduate Jared Ozias (TE/HB/TB) and Waynesburg’s Dakota Romantino (WR) and Isaac Trout (WR) received honorable mention recognition on the offense. Romantino is a Charleroi graduate, while Trout graduated from Southmoreland.

Saint Vincent’s Max Pisula (Scottdale, Sr., DL) and Nathan Sullivan (Elizabeth Forward, Sr., LB), along with Waynesburg’s Chase Nicomatti (Sr., DL), Jaquaivis Valle-Smith (Sr., LB), Brennan Boron (Jr., DB), and Monroe Mohler (Sr., DB) were named to the defense honorable mention team.

Waynesburg sophomore kicker/punter Ricco Sastoque was on the special teams honorable mention team.
