Beth-Center scored with 56 seconds remaining in regulation to draw Brownsville, 1-1, on Saturday in Section 3-AA boys’ soccer play at Redstone Field.

The Falcons (3-3-1, 4-4-1) drew first blood when Thomas Ruffcorn set up Nate Kovscek at 30:20 of the second half.

Bryce Fisher made six saves for Brownsville. The Falcons had nine shots towards the goal and the Bulldogs (4-2-1, 5-4-1) had seven shots on goal.

Brownsville is at Yough (1-5, 1-5) next Thursday at 7 p.m. in Section 3-AA play.

Beth-Center hosts the Cougars on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
