Avonworth's Will Golgosky scored the game-winning goal with just 11 seconds left in the game Thursday night to lift the visiting Antelopes to a 2-1 PIHL Class B Division victory against Connellsville at The Ice Mine.

Connellsville slips to fourth place in the South division with a record of 6-6-0-0 for 12 points. Avonworth has 14 points in the North division with a record of 7-1-0-0.

Milan Deffibaugh's unassisted goal at 3:59 of the first period spotted the Falcons the early lead.

Avonworth's Ryan Kennedy tied the game at 3:53 of the second period.

Neither team scored a power play goal with the Antelopes failing in seven attempts and the Falcons going 0-for-3.

Avonworth's Matt Lesnick turned aside 13 shots in the win. The Falcons' Alex Mitchell made 15 saves.
