Frazier had an easy time in the first two sets, but Fort Cherry gave the Lady Commodores a battle in the third set before falling to head coach Mandy Hartman’s team, 3-0, on Tuesday in non-section play at Frazier.

The Lady Commodores won the first set, 25-18, and the second, 25-12, before having to go to a tiebreaker in the third before winning, 28-26.

Skye Eicher led Frazier (2-0, 3-0) with 20 kills, and teammate Logan Hartman had 31 assists. The Lady Commodores’ Jordin Brundege had 17 digs and Kaelyn Shaporka added 12 service points.

Frazier’s Sierra Twigg had five kills and Alexis Lovis had 19 assists. Kenzie Kelly finished with 19 digs.

The Lady Commodores host Beth-Center on Thursday in Section 3-AA play at 7 p.m.
