West Greene’s Benjamin Jackson was honored for winning the 2018 Herald-Standard Touchdown Club title on Thursday. Jackson scored 162 points during his junior season last year, the fourth-highest total since the award began in 2005. Pictured above are (from left) former West Greene coach Rodney Huffman, who guided the team in 2018; Benjamin Jackson, displaying his TD Club trophy; current West Greene coach Brian Hanson, displaying the traveling Herald-Standard Touchdown Club plaque; and Brian Jackson, Benjamin’s father and an assistant coach for the Pioneers. The four attended a luncheon at Caporella’s in Uniontown. Jackson, now a senior, is leading the 2019 TD Club standings after two weeks with 66 points.
