PAC honors Rice

Grove City junior guard Justice Rice was named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for his performance in the Wolverines’ 75-61 win at Houghton (N.Y.)

The Monessen graduate scored 16 points, grabbed seven rebounds, dished out five assists and added a pair of steals in the victory. Rice made 6-of-10 field goal attempts.

Seto records double-double

Brownsville graduate Alie Seto recorded her second double-double of the season in Washington & Jefferson’s 67-60 victory Saturday at Capital University.

Seto scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

Burns scores 28

Michelle Burns poured in a season-high 28 points Sunday to lead Point Park to a 78-72 victory at Bryant & Stratton (N.Y.)

Burns scored 20 in the first half to help the Pioneers to a 44-34 halftime lead. She also had five assists, four rebounds and hit six 3-pointers.
