McHolme wins Youghiogheny CC men's title

Elizabeth Forward graduate Angus McHolme won the Youghiogheny Country Club Men’s Championship for the third consecutive year. McHolme won by the scores 4 and 3, 3 and 2, and 8 and 2 in the 36-hole championship. McHolme, who will attend Methodist University this fall, will represent the WPGA on the Frank B. Fuhrer, Jr. team with Scott Bitar, Brady Pevarnik and Neal Shipley in the Williamson Cup Matches at Irondequoit Country Club in Rochester, N.Y., on Aug. 11-12.
