Ringgold scored just 17 seconds into Monday’s PIHL Varsity B South Division game and didn’t look back for an 8-0 road victory over Bishop Canevin.

The Rams remain undefeated, improving to 4-0-0 and retain first place with eight points. The Crusaders are 1-4-0.

Nathan Todd scored basically from the opening faceoff with assists going to Justin Day and Ethan Saylor. Then, less than a minute later, Evan Eberlein doubled the Rams’ lead with Saylor assisting.

Todd completed the hat trick in the second period with a power goal at 1:59 and his second goal of the period at 5:48. Brad Bujdos and Day assisted on the first goal and Bujdos and Eberlein set up the second goal.

The Rams then put the game away on Todd’s fourth goal of the game, in addition to goals by Day, Jeremy Bednar and Eberlein.

Chad DeGroen turned aside 15 shots for the shutout.
