Carrick scored three unanswered goals in the second period Thursday night for a 3-1 PIHL B South Division road victory over Connellsville at The Ice Mine.
The game was originally scheduled in October, but was postponed because of ice and rink conditions at The Ice Mine because of unseasonably warm temperatures.
Aaro Larson tied the game just 14 seconds into the second period. Carrick (4-1-0) pushed into the lead two minutes later on Nicholas Cindrich’s goal.
The Warriors completed the three-goal run with Ian Norkevicus’ power play goal at 5:09.
Connellsville (3-4-0) drew to within a goal when Tristan Lapinski scored from a Milan Deffibaugh assist at 7:23.
The Falcons pulled goalie for the final minute of the game, but Mikey Farkal put the game away with an empty-net goal with 27 second remaining.
Jeffrey Golembiewski’s goal at 10:09 of the first period spotted the Falcons the first lead of the game.
Carrick’s Sean Dugan made 24 saves. The Falcons’ Alex Mitchell turned aside 30 shots.
