Cole Koneiczka threw four touchdowns passes as Westminster defeated visiting Waynesburg University, 34-21, in a PAC game on Saturday.

Konieczka tossed scoring passes of 34 yards to Antwon Jones and four yards to Conner Cox in the first quarter and 17 yards to Dwayne Brown in the second quarter as the Titans built a 21-0 halftime lead.

Jordan Taylor got the Yellow Jackets (0-1, 0-2) on the board with a one-yard TD run in the third quarter but Westminster answered with a four-yard touchdown run by Tyler Greene, a 36-yard field goal by Tanner Dudek and a 40-yard scoring catch by Cox to take a 38-7 lead into the fourth quarter.

Tyler Perone threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Bobby Grishaber and Mason Schrenker tossed a 35-yard TD pass to Brendyn Tvaroch for Waynesburg in the fourth quarter.

Bryce Hill rushed for 92 yards and Keano Grice added 91 yards on the ground for the Titans (1-0 2-0). Greene ran for 87 yards. Cox made six receptions for 92 yards.

Perone was 19-for-31 passing for 164 yards, including four completions to Grishaber for 45 yards.

Justin Flack led the Jackets’ ground game with 59 yards.
