Country, rock stars to shine as Star Lake kicks off summer season

Tickets for the Route 18 Round-up Country Series are available by subscription orders only. Subscription order forms are available on the internet at www.post-gazettepavilion.com. The deadline for orders is Monday. Prices are $168.75 for undercover pavilion tickets in sections 4 through 9, and $118.75 for out-of-cover pavilion tickets in sections 4 through 9 and $83.75 for lawn tickets.

– Saturday, June 29, Poison with special guest Cinderella, Winder and Faster Pussycat.

Tickets for the two-show WDVE Saturday Night Special Rock Series went on sale Friday at all Ticketmaster outlets. Series prices are $80 for sections 1 to 3, $62 for undercover pavilion tickets in sections 4 through 9, $42 for out-of-cover pavilion tickets in sections 4 through 9 and $26 for lawn tickets. For every series ticket purchased, the purchaser will receive two free lawn tickets to the venue’s season opener, “Fake Fest II” on Saturday, May 11.

– Sunday, June 23, Usher with special guests Nas, Faith Evans and Mr. Cheeks.

– Wednesday, July 3, John Mellencamp with special guest to be announced. Ticket prices range from $20 to $65 and are on sale now.

– Sunday, July 7, OzzFest 2002 with Ozzy Osbourne, System of A Down, P.O.D., Drowning Pool, Adema, Black Label Society, Rob Zombie, Meshuggah, Pulse Ultra, Neurotica, Earshot, Apex Theory, Lost Prophets, Flaw, Seether and more.

– Friday, Aug. 2 and Saturday, Aug. 3, Dave Matthew Band with special guest to be announced. Tickets priced from $31.50 to $46.50 went on sale Saturday.
