AAFC to present romantic comedy
SCOTTDALE – Actors and Artists of Fayette County (AAFC) will present playwright James Danek’s romantic comedy, “Memories of Viola” at 8:15 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, June 12-14, and 3:15 p.m. Sunday, June 15, at Scottdale Showtime Theatre, 111 Pittsburgh St., Scottdale. The production is under the direction of Richard Means. A special Father’s Day ticket is available for the Sunday performance.
Tickets are reserved seating and may be purchased at the theater during regular box office hours from noon to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday or prior to each performance. Those interested in purchasing tickets are asked to call the box office at 724-887-0887 and leave a message for reservations.
Theatergoers will have a chance to meet the playwright prior to the Friday, June 13, performance at a special “meet the playwright” package, beginning at 7 p.m. in the apartment above the theater. There will be a brief synopsis of the play with time for questions and answers followed by a light “box lunch” prepared by the Lido Caf’. Seating for this special event is limited, and reservations for it must be received by 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 11.
