‘House of Hope’ to bring touching story to Waynesburg
WAYNESBURG – The Waynesburg Bible Chapel Drama Team will present a stirring drama titled “House of Hope” at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and Friday and Saturday, Dec. 10-11. The church is located at 800 E. Greene St. in Waynesburg.
Set in a seedy, run-down hotel, the production features a collection of characters.
The characters struggle to survive and grasp the meaning of life.
Each one of the characters is haunted by the past.
They try to find purpose and discover that life seems pretty hopeful.
On their way to the downtown hospital for special treatments, a young mother with her ill son seeks shelter from a bad storm at Hope’s Hotel.
Life suddenly twists and turns as the tenants of Hope’s Hotel are struck with the responsibility to care for the new arrivals.
