Oct. 24, 2004 Halloween party
The annual combined Pal’s Club/auxiliary children’s Halloween party will be held today at 2 p.m. at the club’s main social hall.
Treats and refreshments will be furnished to the club members’ children.
Prizes will be awarded by age category.
Masontown Cemetery
The meeting date of the Friends of the Masontown Cemetery has been changed to Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Maykuth Funeral Home.
The group is always looking for new members to join the organization and help preserve this local landmark.
Pal’s Social Ladies
The next meeting of the Pal’s Social Ladies will be held on Nov. 3, with a covered dish dinner at 6 p.m.
Turkey, potatoes, rolls and coffee will be provided and members are asked to bring their favorite covered dish.
Three trustees will be elected at the November meeting. Dues are $10 and will be accepted until Dec. 31.
Special thanks
Appreciation is extended to everyone who participated in the Albert Gallatin Senior High School 2004 homecoming parade.
Those attending enjoyed a huge parade this year with over 60 units participating.
Christmas party
The Pal’s Club Social Ladies will hold a Christmas party on Dec. 12 at 3 p.m. at the Hartley Inn in Carmichaels.
All members planning to attend are asked to pay $5 toward their meal.
The meal will be a buffet.
Reservations must be made or canceled by Dec. 7 by calling Betsy at 724-583-9596.
Any member needing a ride to the party is asked to contact any officer and arrangements can be made for transportation.
Skeet shoot
The Masontown Fish and Game Club will hold a skeet shoot today at 1 p.m.
The event is being held for members and guests.
