FARMINGTON – The first annual Fayette County Renaissance Faire and Craft Village schedule of events is as follows: – 10 a.m., Woodland Zoo opens with discount tickets available.
– Noon, Food vendors will begin selling their medieval fare.
– 1 p.m., Meet and Greet with King Henry VIII and his queen, Anne Boelyn.
– 1:30 p.m., Opening ceremonies. Drumstick and pie-eating contests begin.
– 2 p.m., Armored knights joust.
– 2:30 p.m., Robin Hood archery demonstration.
– 2:30 p.m., Knights on horseback challenge one another to medieval rings.
– 4:30 p.m., Adult pie-eating contest.
– 4:45 p.m., Armored knights joust.
– 5:15 p.m., Robin Hood archery demonstration.
– 6 p.m., A performance by Fire Breather and a farewell toast to the King Henry VIII and his queen.
