‘Disney Spectacular’ comes to Fayette
The students at A.G. Montessori School are preparing for the “Disney Spectacular” program, which they will present to family and friends at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Swimmer Hall at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus. The musical show will feature many favorite Disney tunes such as “Hakuna Matata,” “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” and “The Circle of Life” from “The Lion King;” “Supercaligrailisticexpialdocious” and “A Spoonful of Sugar from “Mary Poppins;” and “It’s a Small World.”
The program will include singing, dancing, rhythm sticks, piano solos and signing of a song.
For the presentations, the children and the staff will be wearing costumes of their favorite Disney characters.
Lean Sproul, head teacher of the preschool/kindergarten class, is the director, choreographer and accompanist for the program.
Marjorie Murphy, elementary teacher, is also head of the school, which currently ahs students enrolled from the ages of 2 through third grade.
