April 30, 2006 May Crowning

The Secular Franciscan Order at St. Anthony Friary, Oakland Avenue, Uniontown, will hold its annual May Crowning at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Any child, boys and girls, 5 years and older, are invited to participate in the procession.

A rosary will be recited and the crowning of the Blessed Mother with a flower crown will be held outdoors.

The fraternity will travel to St. Emma’s Retreat Center on May 20 for the spring meeting.

Members interested in attending, must make reservations by calling 724-438-9123 before Tuesday.
