Cruisin’ in the Park IV, a car, truck and bike show, which will be held Sunday at Shady Grove Park in Lemont Furnace. There is a registration fee. Registration will be held from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The car show will take place from 1:30 to 4 p.m. The top 90 trophies will be awarded. The first 200 will receive 11-inch stand-up dash plaques and mugs. D.J. Terry’s Tunes will provide music. A live broadcast from Pickle Radio will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Food and a 50/50 drawing will be featured. Portions of the proceeds will go to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, will host the only public showings in Pennsylvania of the documentary “The Bituminous Coal Queens of Pennsylvania” on Saturday at 12:30, 3:30 and 7 p.m. in the Maggie Hardy Hagerko Theatre in the campus Community Center. The film, which was written and directed by David Hunt and produced by Four Boys Films, owner by Hunt and his wife, Patricia Heaton, is only available through Netflix. Tickets are available at a small cost. Children under 5 are admitted free. Students may include elementary, junior high, senior high and college students. Proceeds will benefit the creation of a scholarship fund.

Jacob’s Lutheran Church, 342 Lutheran Church Road, Masontown, will host the annual Klondike Clergy Community Picnic on Sunday. Activities will begin at 2 p.m. The public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs and favorite picnic games. A covered dish dinner will begin at 5 p.m. Hot dogs, buns and tableware will be provided. Classic Car Cruise will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Arctic Delite located on Route 51 about three miles north of Uniontown. The event will feature trophies, oldies, door prizes and a Chinese auction. Proceeds will benefit domestic violence services. There is a vehicle registration fee. The Appalachian Community Center Annual Festival will be held from 5 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday on Route 857 about six miles south of Fairchance. The event will feature food, games and country music. Free admission will be offered.

Music & Reading-On-The-Mon will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday on the grounds of the historic Nemacolin Castle in Brownsville. Country music will take place Saturday at the Sagebrush Round-Up on Bunner Ridge near Fairmont, W.Va. Featured acts include Ray Hileman & The Wheels of Country and Burt Arbogast & Old Habits. Ray Hileman and his band will play for the open stage from 6 to 7 p.m.

There is an admission fee. The music starts at 6 p.m. and continues until 10:30 or 11 p.m. The Sagebrush Round-Up is located on Bunner Ridge near Fairmont, W.Va., six miles east of Interstate 79 at Exit 139.

The Ligonier Valley Historical Society announced that its final Living History Weekend of the summer season will take place Saturday and Sunday at Compass Inn Museum, which is located on Route 30 in Laughlintown, about three miles east of Ligonier. The event titled “Rebellion in the Valley” will feature a British and Rebel Soldier re-enactment. Guests will have an opportunity to tour the Inn, an authentically restored 1799 stagecoach stop. The complex includes the summer cookhouse, blacksmith and carpenter’s shops and the barn, which houses a Conestoga wagon, stagecoach and 1880 Studebaker wagon.

A variety of 18th and 19th century crafts will be demonstrated.

Open-hearth cooking, spinning and weaving, bobbin lace making, woodworking, quilting and mapmaking are a few of the crafts that will be demonstration. There is a cost for admission.
