The State Theatre Center for the Arts in Uniontown will present “Urban Cowboy: The Musical” on Jan. 28. Based on the Paramount Picture starring John Travolta and Debra Winger, it is the story of Bud, a new breed of cowboy.

Bud is turning heads and looking for love in the biggest honky-tonk in the world, according to a press release.

Featuring the songs from the 1980 film and modern country-western classics like “Friends in Low Places,” “Beer for My Horses” and “The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” this show will have the audience hootin’ and hollerin’.
