FLATWOODS – Flatwoods Productions will present a murder mystery dinner theater titled “The Magician” on Saturday, Feb. 18. Dinner will be served beginning at 7 p.m. with the show taking place in the dining room between courses. For more information and to make a reservation, call 724-785-6896.

As the entertainment begins for the evening, there is a singer, comedian and then a magic act. The performer brings out his assistant, who is a mind reader. He begins to circulate through the audience taking objects and seeing if they can be named.

Eventually he comes to a young lady that has a necklace. It seems there is a bloody history connected to it. Suddenly, the lights go out and a gun goes off. When the lights return, the man causing the argument is wounded. A doctor is summoned and the police called. Interrogations begin.

Two hit men try to remove the man and take him to the hospital. The magician’s assistant and the new girl in his act are constantly arguing about things they saw backstage. And what about the lady just trying to get home to her baby? As the evening continues, there is more intrigue and other murders.

In between sections of the performance, dinner is served along with paper clues that the audience uses to try to piece together what is happening. Who is perpetrating this evil? Who will win the prize and be called the best sleuth?

Dinner will consist of the choice of either roast beef or stuffed chicken breast, salad, potato, vegetable, bread and butter, dessert and coffee, tea or soda.
