1960s bands to bring back past at State Theatre
Fans of 1960s music won’t want to miss this event. Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone, the Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie and Sonny Geraci of Climax & The Outsiders will perform on Saturday at the State Theatre Center for the Arts, 27 E. Main St., Uniontown.
As a leader of the British invasion, Noone is one of the most recognized pop stars from the 1960s with songs like “I’m Henry The Eighth” and “There’s A Kind Of Hush.” With 14 gold singles and seven gold albums, the audience is sure to be “into something good” during this show.
The Turtles, with songs like “Happy Together” and “Eleanor,” combine musical satire and zany antics with hit after solid gold hit. Audience members will be laughing and singing along before they know it.
