State Theatre to open season with reception

The State Theatre Center for the Arts in Uniontown will open the 2006-07 season titled “Go Somewhere” on Saturday, Oct. 7. Anyone who plans to attend the show “Camelot” is invited to attend the opening night reception prior to the show at the Fayette Building Rotunda, which was donated for the evening by Gary Gearing.

Guests will enjoy a variety of hors d’oeuvres donated by local chefs and restaurants. The DeMaio sisters will provide coffee, and the State Theatre will provide the wine.

The following local chefs have agreed to donate their time and talents for the event:

– Titlow, Melanie Bigelow

– Caileigh’s, Joe Carei

– Meloni’s, Bob Kennison

– 30 East Main, Scott Spiker

– Fabrizis, Jerry Krofcheck

– DeMaio Sisters, Kathy Brower

A limited number of tickets will be sold for the reception.
