April 8, 2007 Birthdays

Emma, Hunter and Hannah, triplet children of Don and Christa Sabatula of Smock will celebrate their first birthdays on April 14. A party will be held in their honor.

Earl Jenkins, a guest at Mt. Macrina Manor Nursing Home, celebrated his 62nd birthday March 31. He retired from West Penn Power Co. He has a son, Terry, and a daughter, Linda.

Mark Koposko will celebrate his birthday on April 15. Tyler Piwowar celebrates his birthday on April 15. Adam Piwowar celebrates his birthday on April 17.

Kati Ashton was a celebrant on April 3.

Harry McClelland will be a celebrant on Monday. Jean Hopwood celebrates her birthday on Friday.

Helen (Toots) Fordyce is an April 15 celebrant, and Aquila Hilling celebrates on April 19.

Bailey Jay Holbert of Smithfield and David M. Hudak of Waynesburg are April 15 birthday celebrants. Daniel Varndell of Tuscon, Ariz., was an April 1 birthday celebrant.

Wedding anniversaries

Jim and Cathy Piwowar will celebrate their wedding anniversary on Thursday. John and Myra Piwowar celebrate on Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Pat Trimbath of Dunbar will celebrate 48 years of marriage on Wednesday. They have three children and eight grandchildren.

Don and Elaine Ringer mark their anniversary on April 15.

Keith and Aquila Hilling are April 16 anniversary celebrants. Harry and Jean McClelland observe their anniversary on April 23, Tom and Lisa Kegg observe on April 24.

Jim and Kris Varndell of Price, Utah, will celebrate 10 years of marriage on April 19. They have a son, Tanner Anthony.

The Ladies Auxiliary of New Salem American Legion will meet in the post home at 48 W. Main St., New Salem, on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
