Local church to dedicate new echo organ on May 6
The congregation of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Uniontown will dedicate a new echo organ division on Sunday, May 6, during the morning worship. The echo organ was recently added to the church’s 22-rank Schantz pipe organ by the Walker Technical Co., digitally expanding the organ by 11 additional ranks of pipes. The organ is a gift to St. Paul’s from Gerald and Carolyn Blaney.
St. Paul’s pastor, Rev. Paul N. Frank, Jr. will be assisted in the morning liturgy by Bishop Donald J. McCoid of the Pittsburgh Lutheran Synod. Bishop McCoid will give the morning homily. Jason Keefer, director of music and organist at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church of Uniontown, will conclude the service with an organ recital.
In order to accommodate the recital and reception immediately following the service, worship will begin at 10:30 instead of 10:45. St. Paul’s is located at 71 N. Gallatin Ave. The church is handicapped accessible.
