local One Way will present a special benefit concert for Chestnut Ridge Christian Academy at 7 p.m. today at the Uniontown Free Methodist Church, 301 Evans St., Uniontown. This gospel trio includes Jamie Tressler and Sally and Tim Soom.

Their ministry has taken them to many churches, and they have appeared on Cornerstone TV and Family Life TV. Their music is a collection of southern rock, traditional and bluegrass gospel. For more information or directions, call 724-439-1090.

The Marie Martin benefit concert will be held from 5 p.m. Saturday to 1:30 a.m. Sunday at the California Gun Club, Route 88, California. Five bands will be featuring, including Daddy Long Leg, Burning Earth, Mortal Sin, Hardcore and Magin ‘Nat. There also will be karaoke.

People under age 21 are allowed on the premises until 9 p.m. Tickets bought in advance are discounted. There is a fee for vendors.

There will be raffles every hour.

Jazz blends with magic on the Manchester Craftmen’s Guild stage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, when the next concert in MCG Jazz’ Family Series takes place with “JazzMagic.” Joining master magician Paul Gertner on the stage is saxophonist Mike Tomaro, a Connellsville native; pianist Max Leake; bassist Paco Mahone; and drummer Roger Humphries. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through the MCG box office, by calling 412-322-0800 or online at www.mcgjazz.org. As a special addition to this already swinging concert, Life’s Work’s Ben & Jerry’s PartnerShop will be selling ice cream after the show as a fund-raiser. For every cone purchased, 50 cents will be donated to Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild. Families are invited to stay after the concert for ice cream and fun with the Pittsburgh Roars giant puppets.

Country music will be presented Saturday at the Sagebrush Round-Up on Bunner Ridge near Fairmont, W.Va. The open stage will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. with The Round-Up Band. The regular show starts at 7 p.m. with The Round-Up Band, Butch & Friends, the Vaughn Family, Rusty Hale and Frannie Rush. There is an admission charge. There is a donation for adults. Children under 12 accompanied by an adult will be admitted free. The Sagebrush Round-Up is located on Bunner Ridge near Fairmont, six miles east of Interstate 79 at Exit 139. Middletown Community Country Music Show Lineup for Saturday will be Al Arbigast, Sonny Compton, John and Ann Coberly and Larry Reed. The show is located on Route 73 across from Middletown Mall near Fairmont, W.Va.

Dinner will be served at 4 p.m. It will include turkey, mash potatoes and green beans.
