Zach Ellsworth and Unwritten to rock at record-release concert at Smithfield church

2 min read

Do you dig big guitar solos – arena-rock style? Do you hanker for a little blues? Do you long for the sound of golden oldies – like you just left a sock hop? Then look no further – Zach Ellsworth and the band, UnWritten, are here. The band’s record-release concert is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Moriah Church in Smithfield.

To say that the album is eclectic may be an understatement, according to Ellsworth.

“Not too many artists have taken sensible soft-rock stylings, Bic-lighting power anthems, part-gospel harmonies and riff-driven guitar rock and thrown them all together on the same record (sometimes even in the same song),” Ellsworth said.

“And yet throughout the plethora of musical platforms, the message remains clear, ‘We are all sinners in need of a savior and God has given us just that in his son Jesus Christ,” he continued.

“That is what the ministry of this album is all about,” he added. “It is the prayer of everyone that has contributed to this project that you “connect” through the music, ‘commit’ your life to Christ and let him “change” your heart.

Admission is free, and the public is invited For more information, call 724-317-9757 or visitthe band’s Web site at myspace.com/zachellsworth.
