local Local band Happy Ending will perform at 9:30 p.m. today at Fatboy’s, located on Route 119 south in Connellsville.Artists Round Table will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Greensboro Fire Hall. There is a cost for each person. The cost includes lunch and the art review. Area artists may come to this interactive discussion group. They will cover topics such as available inventory, marketing art and networking. There will be an art consultant available to assess work (limited to three pieces) in the later half of the seminar. Creative Communities will sponsor the monthly seminars, which will be held on the second Saturday. The seminars will cover all facets of topics regarding creative industry such as networking, marketing, housing, grants, tourism and economic redevelopment. Creative Community seminars are sponsored in cooperation with the Nathaneal Greene Historical Foundation, Pittsburgh 250 Community Connections, The Sprout Fund and the Community Foundation of Greene County.All Saints Regional School will hold a dinner and celebrity auction at 6 p.m. Saturday at the All Saints Church Social Hall on Church Avenue, Masontown. Tickets are available at the school office during school hours. The price covers admission, dinner and refreshments. Wine tasting, chocolate fondue and live romantic music will be presented from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Christian W. Klay Winery in Chalk Hill. Pittsburgh’s Clark Slater, formerly of the popular band Puhs, will provide entertainment. Recently, he played as lead guitarist for the Bill Deasy Band. This event requires advance, pre-paid reservations. There is a cost for tickets, which may be purchased by calling the winery at 724-439-3424.

St. Aloysius Parish Family on Ranch Road in Dunbar is planning its annual Mardi Gras celebration from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in its social hall. The event will feature ethnic foods such as pierogi, pizza, cabbage rolls, cabbage and noodles, sauerkraut and kielbasa. There also will be a bake sales, games, etc. The public is invited.

Country music will be presented Saturday at the Sagebrush Round-Up on Bunner Ridge near Fairmont, W.Va., six miles east of Interstate 79 at Exit 139. The open stage will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Featured acts include The Round-Up Band, Ray Hileman & The Wheels of Country, Chuck & Robbie Comas, The Matheny Family and Shane & The Good Ole Boys, rock ‘n’ roll. Middletown Country Music Show will feature Your Request Band, Eileen Smith, Rockin’ Al Anderson and The Classics tonight. Dinner will be served at 4 p.m. followed by the show at 6 p.m. The venue is located on Route 73 about two miles from the Middletown Mall.
