local Local rock band Happy Ending will perform at 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday at the National Pike Bar, located on Route 40 in Farmington.

Music On the Mon begins its fifth season with The Vibrations, a local group that plays a mix of music from polkas to rock. The free concert will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the historic Nemacolin Castle in Brownsville. Those attending are asked to bring a lawn chair or blanket. Buffalo Nation Powwow will take place today through Sunday at the Woodland Zoo, 3400 National Pike (Route 40) in Farmington. An informal bonfire will be held Friday evening. Hours are noon to 7 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. The event will feature Native American dancing, drumming, singing, Native American food, craft vendors, flute players, storytellers and more. Danny Two Eagles will be M.C. Muddy Creek will provide northern drum, and Thunder Nation will provide southern drum. All dancers in Native American regalia are welcome. No drugs, alcohol, politics or firearms will be permitted. The fourth annual St. Jospeh’s Roman Catholic Church classic car/truck/motorcycle show will be held today rain or shine. Car show registration begins at 1 p.m. There will be a donation for show vehicles, and general admission is free. Dash plaques will be awarded to the first 200 registered cars. The awarding of more than 60 trophies is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. American and Polish foods will be served. The event will feature door prizes, Chinese auction, oldies D.J. Arnie Amber, 50/50 drawing, children’s game, American Band (live) and an air-conditioned hall. St. Joseph’s church is located at 180 Old Walnut Hill Road, Uniontown.

A Pet Fair sponsored by the Perryopolis Parks and Recreation Authority, will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in Sampey Park in Perryopolis. All pets (on leashes) and their families are invited to participate. There will be food, games and prizes for pets and children, a pet parade, talent contest, food, free samples, “pet”icures, photos and more.

The eighth annual Bike Night will be held from 7:30 to 10 p.m. today at the GIG Coffeehouse in the old Wynn Co. Store parking lot on Route 857 South toward Fairchance. Trophies will be awarded at 8 p.m. The band 3 Thirty 3 will play from 8:15 to 10 p.m. The event will feature food, fun and fellowship. Middletown Country Music Show will feature Larry Reed, the Richard Brothers and Rockin’ Al Anderson today. Dinner will be served at 4 p.m., and the show starts at 6 p.m. The venue is located two miles on Route 73 across the Middletown Mall in Fairmont, W.Va. For information, call 304-265-4938.

The Sagebrush Round-Up will present its spring festival today and Saturday. An open stage will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. today. Featured acts include The Round-Up Band, Gary Cathell, Leo McMillen with Del & Noreen and The Country Drifters. There is a cost. Music starts at 6 p.m. and continues until 11 p.m. Bands will begin playing at 1 p.m. Saturday and will continue into the evening. They include The Round-Up Band, Granny Blosser, Bill Murray & Friends, Betty Jo Heater & The Countryairs, Chuck & Robbie Comas, The Country Drifters and Brad Crow & The Cut-Ups. Grand Ole Opry star Jimmy C. Newman is the main attraction. Tickets are available in advance and at the show.

Rhythm & Brews in Morgantown, W.Va., will present Floyd Cowger from 5 to 8 p.m. today, followed by Ocean City Skyline playing a variety of music at 10 p.m. Mark Palmer will play a variety of music at 10 p.m. Saturday.
